Fiji's resort belt runs along the south and west of Viti Levu: Denarau Island beside Nadi, Natadola and Momi Bay to the south, the Coral Coast from Sigatoka to Pacific Harbour. About this guide

Pick the area first, then the resort. Denarau is the convenient one: minutes from the airport, a marina for the island boats, several large resorts side by side, and a man-made beach rather than a reef. Natadola has Fiji's best mainland beach and the golf resort above it. The Coral Coast is the long, lazy option — reef lagoons in front, villages behind, an hour or more from the airport — with Sigatoka as the local town. Pacific Harbour at the eastern end is the base for diving and river trips, and Momi Bay south of Nadi is the quiet, self-contained choice.
