  I don’t often write reviews but this magical loved filled place deserves the credit. We stayed here in a 2 bedroom villa with our kids before flying home after staying in the islands. We expected a place to sleep and relax but what we gained was the Fiji spirit which we will never forget. The food is by far the best we’ve had at any hotel or resort and the people make this place a once and a lifetime experience. If you want to experience Fiji’s true cultural beauty this is the place.

  Stayed here for one day on my way to Tonga due to a flight disruption. All the staff are super nice and the rooms are clean. Beach and bar are both very solid. Unfortunately I slept through dinner so I am unable to review the food.

  This was our second family visit to the same place and we enjoyed it. Food is delicious, service is lovely, people smiling and greeting you throughout is very pleasant. But can surely work on the mosquitoes as that was not good while on holidays. The property is huge and ample of place to relax and chill out near the beach.

  We were only in Nadi for one night between island hopping, and booked this as our “budget” stay and it was so, so nice!!! We did a 30 minute foot massage at the spa, and it was the best massage we have ever had. Our time here was brief, but we loved every minute!

  The monthly Vuda Markets held at beautiful First Landing Resort are always such a lovely way to spend the day. Set right by the water with plenty of parking, the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and full of local charm. The markets usually start around 8am and finish around 3pm, giving everyone plenty of time to wander, browse, eat and catch up with friends. There’s a wonderful variety of locally made items including colourful sulus, handmade clothing, jewellery, local artefacts, flowers, fresh foodstuffs and unique gifts. It’s the perfect place to support local businesses and talented creatives while enjoying the stunning Vuda surroundings. Make sure you stop by and see Tom at Indulge for beautiful coffee or lovely wine with sampling. The coffee is always excellent and made even more special because my beautiful niece Viri from Matailobau, Naitasiri works there 🥰. Seeing her friendly face, our blood🥰 - made my day and touched my heart. Michelle McGowans flower stall is also a must-visit, especially for her gorgeous teki tekis and other beautiful tropical arrangements for the hair plus earrings and various lovely items. Lynn McClaren has the most lovely sulus and other gorgeous items that are always hard to resist. After wandering through the markets, grab some lunch at the restaurant at First Landing Resort and sit back enjoying the sea breeze and peaceful waterfront setting. It really is one of those simple but special Fiji days out — relaxed, friendly and full of warmth. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike. Always a nice day at Vuda Markets ❤️

  As the advertisement says, "dated but clean and tidy", rings so true!!! Have nothing but good things to say about this resort.. We've stayed there two years in a row now; and now look forward to our annual mini trips back to Fiji because of our stay there. The staff are so polite, helpful and show they care. Our second stay this year was upgraded to a one-bedroom villa and the Manager, Mary was lovely. The one-bedroom villas are lovely; our own pool, self-contained apartment setting and privacy all around. Kudos to the chef and F&B staff too!!! The food is tasty, well presented and their Mango smoothies are to die for!!! You feel you're off the mainland in this little hidden by-the-beach place and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for reasonable prices for an on-the-mainland island beach resort experience... Vinaka First Landing, xo....
