  We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the adults-only section for a relaxing getaway. A special thank you to Eva at the exchange shop, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and shared great local knowledge that made our stay even better. Romero at Waitui Bar & Grill was outstanding. His customer service was excellent, he was quick to notice when my bubbles/cocktail glass was empty, and his friendly personality made every visit enjoyable. Amelia at the pool towel hut was always a pleasure to deal with and greeted us with a smile every day. The accommodation was clean, well maintained, and any requests were handled quickly and efficiently. We also preferred the à la carte dining experience over the busy buffet breakfast. Overall, a wonderful resort with exceptional staff who made our holiday memorable. We look forward to returning! Bula! Ave & Tez

  Awesome. Best and comfortable accommodation I had while in Fiji. Very top class rating I would say. From staffs to management well looked after. My whole family loved it from food to swimming pool to room service. Very friendly staff one and all. Wedding was well organized Excellent. Keep up . Looking forward to stay in Sofitel next time.

  Perfect family vacation. The pool was perfect for adults and teenagers alike. The activities staff made my boys so happy late each afternoon when they let them do bombs in the deep end. Hubby and I had a wonderful birthday couples massage in the spa. We utilised the pillow show and Tima and Mere Walesi were super helpful. We dined in-house at Bazaar a couple of nights for ease. The Italian night and the International night buffets kept everyone happy. The restaurants staff were the epitome of Fijian hospitality. Benji and Ratu Akuila were standouts. Benji’s ability to remember people’s names is incredible and he made us feel like part of his extended family from Day 1. Moses on the grill was so accommodating and Florence, Merica and Luisa took extra care of us. Can’t recommend it highly enough and the sunsets each even were superb. Vinaka vaka levu until next time xx

  Merewalesi was amazing helping us select a personalised pillow for our stay. Warm and friendly service in the pillow store - as were all the staff we interacted with. Our room was well set up and fresh, serviced well each day with turn down service as well. Staff at the Sofitel are well trained and very professional but also warm and friendly at the same time. Each one introduced themselves when providing services and were more than attentive. Greetings from passing staff were friendly and welcoming. The resort itself is lovely, beautiful gardens and facilities are fresh and well maintained. Meals were plated beautifully in the specialty restaurants and we enjoyed each meal we had there. The buffet is well stocked with a variety of foods for all tastes and is busy as to be expected. As mentioned previously the staff at the resort are the best feature and make your stay so much more enjoyable. I cannot commend them enough. Shout outs to each of them. Highly recommend.

  My partner and I came here for the our anniversary trip. The property itself is beautiful and the service staff are really friendly. However, the overall experience was very sub-par. Upon check in, we were told we would get a room upgrade and an early check in/late check out courtesy of our credit card. The room we got didn’t seem like much of an upgrade. In addition, the general pool area is filled with families and small children, not really what we were looking for during our romantic getaway. The front desk didn’t really make any attempt to enhance our stay here at Sofitel. It felt like we paid a lot for the experience we ended up getting. On our final day, they told us that we would have to check out the normal time despite being told that we would have a late check out a few days prior. We were also billed for countless dinners and drinks that we did not consume. Someone was using my our room number and had we not checked, we would’ve paid hundreds of dollars extra. In the end, this was not the stress-free vacation we had envisioned. The hotel management did not seem to care about our overall experience during our stay.

  Perfect 5 night stay. The resort is beautifully presented and every staff member is welcoming and helpful. From checking in, housekeeping, restaurant, pool side and just in, passing everyone says Bula and is a pleasure to interact with. Loved the sleep store / pillow shop! I nearly feel asleep choosing a pillow in was a bliss full treat to have choice. The buffet staff and chefs were incredibly knowledgeable on the gluten free options available and spent time walking me through so I knew exactly what and where etc. Pool side we were looked after particularly well by Benjamin. He was so welcoming and nothing was too much, made us all feel special on our birthday week holiday. The kids enjoyed visiting the kids club playground area. The free kayaks were fun. And we liked the adults only area restaurant. The Spa was very relaxing and is highly recommended. Looking forward to another visit in the future.
