Best stays in Nadi, Fiji: airport, Denarau and the beaches
Nadi is where almost every Fiji trip begins: the international airport, the Queens Road south to the Coral Coast, and the marina at Denarau where the island boats leave. Most travellers stay a night or two here on either side of an island stay, so the area runs from airport hotels to full resorts.
Where to stay in Fiji: Nadi, the Coral Coast, Suva and beyond
Fiji's main island, Viti Levu, is where most visitors sleep, and where you stay depends on what you came for: Nadi and Denarau for the airport and the island ferries, the Coral Coast between Sigatoka and Pacific Harbour for beach resorts, Suva for the capital and its markets. Kalena lists Viti Levu properties with guest ratings from verified sources.
Best resorts in Fiji: Viti Levu's top-rated beach and golf resorts
Fiji's resort belt runs along the south and west of Viti Levu: Denarau Island beside Nadi, Natadola and Momi Bay to the south, the Coral Coast from Sigatoka to Pacific Harbour. Kalena lists 34 rated resorts across those areas; the list below is ordered by guest rating from verified sources, not by who pays for placement.

Don't look at the photos. I don't know why these photos are up?? Nothing like the actual resort! Enjoyed our stay, despite the food at the restaurant taking over 40 mins the staff are lovely and accommodating. Rooms are great for the price. Great location, near markets, beach, restaurants and main town

Staff were very accommodating. The room we stayed in had been renovated and was very good. Some renovation still being done. This place has had a rough past and they are bring it back to its former glory. Fantastic roof top bar and pool area. 10 min walk to the beach and other restaurants. Not far from shops. Best breaks so far. Amazing sunsets from the roof top bar and a bit of plane spotting as close to the airport.

Very disappointing stay at Grand Melanesian Resort, Nadi. The bathroom had no proper bath/shower door, causing water to flow outside and leaving the floor constantly wet and unsafe. The pool and pool area were very dirty and poorly maintained. Most concerning was that TV and freezer wires were left hanging and exposed. The management was already informed at the time of booking that children would be staying, yet no action was taken to secure these hazards. This shows a serious lack of concern for child safety. Overall, the resort lacks basic cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards.

First of all, most of the photos here are NOT from this place... We had a very „okay“ stay in one of the cheapest rooms. Breakfast is basically toast with peanut butter and jam. Nothing more. This hotel is everything but busy, so 2 of the bars and 1 restaurant are not run anymore. It seems like a place that has been very nice like 15 years ago. The nicest thing is the pool and the good food around the main road. The worst experience was that we asked the staff to call a cab, actually they called a transfer shuttle service with no taximeter and double the price. We just wanted to have a regular taxi. So we asked again, and again some shuttle driver has been hired. No taximeter, double the price. Ridiculous.

Was here last year just for one night. The women welcoming me was super nice and even though I booked a room with several beds I had a huge room all to myself. There were some issues with picking me up from the airport though and the breakfast wasn't that good either.

Needed a place to stay for a few hours whilst waiting for a flight so didn’t stay the night and booked here accordingly. It’s not the most flash place to stay in Fiji but the rooms had AC and a fan and the pool was nice and clean. Food/drink prices were reasonable. If you need a quick place to stay in Nadi this place gives pretty solid value.
