Rooms are very, very tired. First night our room wasn't available so we had to take a smaller bed. Breakfast the next day was cold. Everything in the bain Marie's was cold. Pineapple juice from the bar was some nasty sugary cordial, rather than actual juice, which should have been readily available given we were in Fiji. When our shuttle arrived to collect us the driver was told we weren't guests & they didn't know who we were. (I actually told the receptionist we were waiting for our shuttle in the dining area). We're very lucky they didn't leave without us. For an Accor motel, this one is well below what I would have expected. Ridiculous cost for such a crummy place. We used one of their cab drivers to take us to Denarau & he was disgusting; snorting & hawking the entire trip. (We used our own driver after that). Would not recommend at all.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room 317 was old and the toilet had an unpleasant smell throughout my stay. The overall condition of the room did not meet my expectations. What stood out most was the lack of hospitality from the staff. Unlike other hotels and resorts, staff rarely greeted guests or interacted with them. During breakfast, the staff did not smile, greet guests, or check on anyone. Instead, they were shouting instructions to each other across the dining area about refilling breakfast trays, and I even heard one staff member telling another to bring a knife so she could prepare items for lunch. This felt very unprofessional and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. In Fiji, a simple "Bula" goes a long way, but I was never greeted as staff walked past me, not even during breakfast service. The experience was a complete contrast to my stay at Tokatoka, where the staff were friendly, welcoming, and regularly checked on guests to ensure they were enjoying their stay. The check-out experience was equally disappointing. When I arrived at reception, no one was at the counter, so I had to wait. Eventually, a staff member came, took my key, and simply said, "Okay, done." There was no thank you, no farewell, and no question about how my stay had been. Overall, I felt neglected and unwelcome throughout my stay. Better customer service, professionalism, and guest engagement would greatly improve the experience.

Me and my husband been at Mercure multiple times during our trip around Fiji in may. Rooms are very clean and mattresses very comfortable. Reception and concierge staff always willing to help with luggages and allowed us to store them while we were away a couple of days in the islands around. The breakfast has been great and the breakfast chef shyana nisha has been very accommodating and she provided an excellent customer service. Her eggs are absolutely fantastic!!! Absolutely recommended place to stay in Nadi. Close to the city centre, in between the airport and the port, very convenient position. Nice pool and garden well maintained. Bar offers nice and fresh cocktails and cocktails with fresh fruit, perfect refreshment for the season. Coffee is also very nice. Thank you to all staff to make our stay in Fiji memorable ❤️ 10/10!!! I could smell mold in my room but didn't see any so probably in the AC. The bathroom wasn't great either and needed touch ups all over place. I'm surprised Mercure would risk their reputation with the current state of the place. It needs a major revamp The only reason for 3 stars is food was good and staff were helpful and friendly.

Shortly after making our reservation, we emailed Mercure Nadi with some queries with regards to our reservation. Responses were received swiftly, some times within minutes of emailing. However; prior to our arrival, we had emailed Mercure Nadi countless times and did not receive a response for our queries. The first room we were allocated had an air conditioning unit that sounded like an airplane - I am a light sleeper so this made it unbearable to sleep. I would have to turn it off to fall asleep but then wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat because the room was as hot as a furnace. The shower head in the bathroom was broken as well. On our second day there, the ceiling in the bathroom started to leak - we called reception and they sent maintenance up to fix it. It was fixed however the next morning it began to leak again so I called reception and insisted on switching rooms. There were no other rooms available so we were told to pack our belongings and they would move our stuff to a new room when it became available. The door lock on our initial room was somewhat faulty so you'd have to pull it hard for it to lock. The staff who serviced our room did not pull the door handle hard enough so our room was left ajar for the whole day while we were out. Anyone could have entered our room and stole our belongings. In terms of pricing - this was one of the cheaper accommodations we chose so I guess you get what you pay for. Breakfast is included but it's average - food is not super hot and some things such as the hashbrowns were slightly hard... The location was fantastic though - easy for us to walk around to cafes and restaurants. And close enough for us to drive to activities and such as well.

Absolutely horrific experience here and would not recommend the hotel. The check in process was a headache, the room took hours to be ready and the staff severely lacked communication. Bags were not able to be stored and was made to wait in the heat for hours. No welcome drink or bag storage. Reception staff were awful, looked disinterested, not friendly nor welcoming and definitely not helpful. The room was severely outdated and lacked basic amenities like drinking bottled water. The AC wasn’t able to be adjusted resulting in a warm room. Ultimately the 3 night stay was canceled early after a single night and the cancelation process here is a headache. No one knew what to do, got passed around more than a rugby ball. After several phone calls, visits to the reception and email. I was able to speak to the manager who refunded 1/3 nights. Beware of this nightmare of a hotel, which is disappointing as I’m an Accor member and have never had any issues with this franchise elsewhere.
