  Denarau Island sits about 20 minutes from Nadi International Airport, on the west coast of Viti Levu, and it's where most of Fiji's international resort brands cluster — Hilton, Sofitel, Sheraton, Radisson Blu, Westin and Wyndham all have properties here, joined by shared roads and a golf course rather than a public town. Many Fiji trips spend a night or two on Denarau, either side of time on an outer island, since the marina at Port Denarau is the departure point most travellers use for boats out to the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands, and its retail strip is where the island's restaurants and duty-free shops sit.   Definitely not a 5 star resort! 3 / 3.5 star would be fair. We paid $11,000 (flights not included) for 7 nights and we couldn't even sit together on the balcony as there was no furniture. When I said something we came back to these 2 seats. Look at how big the balcony is and no daybed to enjoy the view in the day. When you have young kids you want to chill in the afternoon when they are sleeping and we had to chill inside. Very disappointing when we paid so much money! Fridge had no foot on one side and the door scraped on the floor. It was being held up by wedged cardboard TVs couldn't connect, luckily we had iPads for the kids for chill time. Check in was not great, no information provided / maps or what to do for dinner etc. we had to ask other guests. Waiting around for about an hour before being directed to the room. Very expensive for not that great food, with no other options so you have to pay for it. I don't mind paying for food if it's good quality. Food came out dry, cold and the steaks were definitely not worth $150. $24 for a ham and fake cheese slice toasty, even my kids didn't eat it. $129 for the buffet meal! That's over $600 for a small family! We did try the bar over the road at the golf course and this was great! However the golf course was a goat track. Definitely not world class as per their website. Poor / lack of customer service You have to ask for everything , nothing is provided unless you ask. They are very friendly people but they do not listen and make too many mistakes. If this was rated 3 or 4 star hotel you would expect what we received and would have been happy. But $11,000 for 5 star and 5 star service and it definitely wasn't that. Guest services - we booked a golf buggy to pick our bags up at 11am on the day of check out. At 11.20 no one had turned up so I walked to reception . This had not been booked by anyone! Very poor considering we booked it for check out Even at check out we lined up for 20 mins and when I got to the front I was told that the end desk was for check out - there were no signs We don't want anything for free and this review is to warn other people who are wanting a 5 star hotel to look elsewhere! We've stayed at many 5 star resorts all over the world as this was not 5 star.

  Had a really great stay at Sherantan Fiji. The service was excellent the whole time — staff were friendly and looked after us really well. The breakfast buffet was a highlight too, with heaps of options and the food was great. It was the perfect spot for some quality family time, relaxing and comfortable. Would definitely recommend if you’re after a nice break with the family. We’ll be back for sure!

  Our family stayed 7 nights at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The welcoming staff truly made us feel at home and were always friendly and eager to help. The resort has beautiful pools, stunning ocean views, and an amazing relaxing atmosphere. There were activities throughout the day for both adults and kids, so we were never bored. If you’re traveling with children, the activities and Kids Club make it an excellent family destination. The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of our stay. A special thank you to the chef at the Dosa Station who prepared fresh dosas every morning. They were absolutely delicious, and his warm smile and hospitality made us look forward to breakfast each day. It became a family tradition to start every morning there! We made wonderful memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing Fiji vacation.

  One of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at! The amenities were amazing, our room was cleaned daily, and every staff member made our stay feel extra special. From housekeeping and the front desk to the bellmen and servers, the customer service was outstanding. Breakfast had a huge variety of delicious options, and hearing the staff sing to departing guests every morning was truly music to our ears. Taylor from the bell staff was especially amazing and always came through whenever we needed anything. The kayak staff were hilarious and super helpful, and the swim-up bar staff were fantastic as well. Overall, an incredible experience with top-tier service from beginning to end!

  I have just come back from spending 11 days in this amazing place We were here to celebrate my sister ‘s Big Birthday . Everything was clean beautiful presentation of the resort Fantastic staff nothing was ever a problem In all areas of the resort The amazing buffet breakfast and oh my god those omelettes they were so delicious Aqua aerobic classes so good. Everybody loved Ronnie We stayed in one of the villa’s Christina was fantastic.., Loved those buggy rides Especially from Ashif & George We love Infinity Pool Outstanding service by all the ladies Especially Litiana.   I only had a short two night stay here but it was a comfortable hotel with beautiful grounds and I would consider again. I had booked a standard garden view room which was beautiful - light and airy decor yet a very modern vibe made it super relaxing. The balcony was a decent enough size for sitting on and the bathroom was impressive. Housekeeping were a little noisy in the mornings as they cleaned the walkways outside but did a great job in the room, and all the amenities you’d expect were present. I had booked the all-inclusive package but unfortunately the description of what this package included was a bit lacking - an attempt was provided on paper at check-in, but everything seemed to be listed as “dependant on restaurant” which was never made clear in each restaurant either. You’re also required to still obtain a bill and sign after every order, which makes grabbing a quick drink a bit of a faff, given the service is never very speedy. Saying that though, the selection of drinks is decent enough and the food, for both breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant, wasn’t too bad. There’s lots of different areas around the site to lay and relax, whether you’re wanting total peace on your own, or be surrounded by more action. All the grounds are really well kept and despite there being some areas of construction during my visit it wasn’t intrusive. Overall it was a pleasant hotel which provided a relaxing couple of days - I’d certainly stay for longer next time.
