A family-run beach resort on Queens Road at Korolevu on Fiji's Coral Coast, set on tropical gardens fronting a lagoon and operating since 1993. Accommodation ranges from garden-hut bungalows and timber-loft and standard rooms to six-bed dormitories. There is an on-site restaurant, and the resort runs its own surf school on the break just offshore plus snorkeling, kayaking, island day trips, and fishing charters.

  Stayed at the Fiji Beachouse last week. The staff were so friendly, dorms so clean, and the food - second to none. Highly recommend the bacon omelette for breakfast, fish burger for lunch, and the chicken curry for dinner (not to mention the complimentary scones and tea at 3:30pm daily). Also suggest you have go at the island hop day trip. Sota tale! Vinakua

  Friendly & helpful staff - nothing was a problem. Eco-tourism vibe - not for everyone. Had a room with outdoor shower/toilet facility (amongst lush tropical Fijian bush). Food - was very good - easy as ... loved the homemade cakes for dessert!!! Soooo good!!! Beach front - average but great surf beach...dumpers...not for young swimmers. Definitely recommend. At budget end of spectrum. Will be back for sure!!!

  Basically all room and hotel services are absent... no towel, no plug, no response / help from manager, activities for book n pay cash only, and food is meh at best. But the Place itself is really nice, there is a superb freedom vibes with lots of families and guests running happy around, and the lagoon is fantastically beautiful. In evening, there is a pretty good live band, cold beers and good wines... and it really gives an amazing atmosphere.

  Fiji beach house was a lovely spot. We spent 5 days there, with 3 teenage kids. Very Chill and easy going... If you need everything perfect, manicured and slick luxury, then perhaps look somewhere else (and pay a lot more money!), but if you can overlook some of the little details, then the vibe and general ambiance is perfect. Meals are reasonably priced, and the mains in particular were excellent. Breakfast is free and simple, but you can spend money if you want something specific. Staff are friendly and flexible. The afternoon impromptu volleyball games with a few locals turned into an unexpected highlight, and snorkeling or swimming off the beach was very good quality (not as good as some of the outer reefs, but for ease and availability it was exceptional). The surfing here is possible on the right tides, and they even run a beginner surf school, and combined with free kayak use makes for plenty of off-the-beach water options. They did mix up our rooms when we checked in late on the first night, and made possibly the strangest espresso martini I have ever been served in my life, but if you can get over these very minor issues, then I would recommend this as a perfect little family friendly spot to stay, and would happily choose this place again.

  Love this place, come back every year or 2. Staff are very nice and friendly, good vibes here right on the beach with a couple of surf breaks, and quite good snorkeling. Food pretty good actually except the included breakfast which is very basic. But you can order a cooked breakfast so yeah no big deal. Garden rooms are basic yet nice and comfortable with privacy and outdoor bathroom. Can hire boards or organize surf lessons from Bruce. Can organize boat trips for surfing or snorkeling however these are a little pricey...

  Truly a lovely place to stay with reasonable prices. Very lively, friendly crowd of world travelers with a good mix of age ranges. I came here by myself and stayed in the bunkhouse and the only real main downside is that there are no plugs in the bunkhouse room so you have to bring a power bank.
