  Tambua Sands Beach Resort is very nice, Still in very good condition and the staff are lovely. The grounds are kept very clean and the pool is nice though quite small. Google has its map location wrong, it's not by Outrigger. I've edited it on Google maps so hopefully it gets updated. Bula ❤️

  Husband and I stayed for 7 nights at Tambua Sands Resort on the Coral Coast Fiji. The resort is an Adults only resort, very peaceful and relaxing, definitely on Fiji time. The pool was nice, and was easy to find a lounge chair nearby the pool. The activities coordinator Tui was brilliant, he made it quite enjoyable with things to participate in. The resort is about 1 and half hours from Nadi International Airport. Be prepared to be a little isolated. But hitching a ride down the road is easy and safe for a few minor dollars. The beach Bure is perfect to wake up to the sound of the sea, and snorkeling there is fantastic.

  Booked for 4 nights. Left after 1. Be warned... everything is a charge. Internet is not included. You have to put a deposit on the TV remote. Has a nice view and is on the beach. However the resort is 20 years past its prime. Staff were terrible rude... and thats saying something. Everyone and everywhere else in Fiji the people are so kind and happy!

  We had an incredible stay at Tambua Sands Beach Resort and would absolutely return. From the moment we arrived very late at night, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. Every single team member was friendly, accommodating, and always positive, which really set the tone for the whole stay. The traditional kava welcome ceremony was beautifully done and a fantastic introduction to the Fijian culture. They also went above and beyond to create a truly memorable private birthday dinner for us, complete with a cake, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration really special. The beachfront location is stunning. Falling asleep to the roar of the waves crashing on the reef was magical, and it conveniently drowned out the small amount of road noise. The resort itself is quiet, peaceful, and feels like a proper escape... a home away from home. Our beachfront villa was exceptional: spotless, well-furnished, comfortable, and with reliable hot water. We loved the “service by request” approach for housekeeping, which suited us perfectly. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the security staff were incredibly vigilant and reassuring without ever feeling intrusive. There was no shortage of things to do. Kayaking was picture-perfect and so much fun, beach horse riding at sunset was a highlight, and the resort offers an amazing range of tours and activities. The staff were also incredibly helpful in organising transfers and excursions, which made everything effortless. Reception was always well staffed and attentive, and the overall service across the resort was consistently excellent. A couple of minor downsides: the resort’s location appears to be recorded incorrectly, which caused a little confusion initially, and the continental breakfast was underwhelming compared to the otherwise excellent standard of the resort. Overall, this was a peaceful, memorable, and beautiful stay with exceptional service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront escape in Fiji.

  If you're looking for a nice quiet place between Nadi and Suva then look no further than Tambua Sands. The staff are wonderful. Tui is in charge of the activities and does an amazing job. Waisaki is head of security and is a thorough gentleman. Car rental is advisable which can be arranged in Sigatoka which is about 16kms away.⛱️🌞🌴🥥

  I had the lucky opportunity to stay at Tambua Sands Beach Resort this year on January 29/30, 2026. I am from Canada after visiting my sister in New Zealand, I decided to extend part of my trip to Fiji with my sister as an extra get away. We planned our trip online and originally booked an Air B&B further down island, unfortunately after our first night we realized it was not the best fit for us. We got up and searched for something more suitable for us and I found this gem. Great pricing, great staff, the ocean and beach were beautiful. We got to do some snorkeling and they even had gear for us to use which was a bonus as I forgot mine. The staff were so friendly, one day we even had one of the maintenance crew, Tony, come around and bring us fresh coconuts to drink! The meals were lovely, the other guests were so friendly, it was so laid back and perfect. The room was well air conditioned, meticulously clean, nicely furnished, clean and new bathroom, and overall comfortable and perfect. We had a beautiful ocean view from our hut and everything was just perfect. We enjoyed Karaoke one night in the main building, and meals onsite were awesome. Overall from the welcoming staff at the gate greeting us with warm smiles and the Drum entrance followed by a great "Bula"to the overall experience, this was a 5 star well done on a little resort, we felt so special and welcomed. Very impressed. I have stayed at large all inclusive resorts in other countries with less detail then this! Great job!! I look forward to returning to Fiji soon and I will definitely ensure I stay here again when I do!
