  I stayed at Amoa on the 19th last week with my partner, and it was my very first time in Savai’i, a trip I will never forget because it’s where my man proposed to me 🤍🥹 Thank you, Amoa, for your generosity, warm hospitality, and kindness from the moment we arrived. Every step of the way, we felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. We are a very young couple, and we truly appreciated that you looked beyond our age and treated us with such respect and warmth. The place is absolutely beautiful. I love nature, and this resort gave me exactly that. The surroundings are peaceful and refreshing, and everything was so hygienic and clean 😍 It made the whole experience even more comfortable and relaxing. We had such a wonderful experience with such kind people. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back again 🤍✨

  Stayed here twice, first time back in 2023 and the most recent time in November 2025. First time I stayed here with my family and we had the family room with one king bed and two singles that’s that us five adults with no problem at all and our experience was great which is why I came back the second time. I stayed in the double rooms this time round I did have an issue with the smell of smoke in the room where I had to air out the room multiple times. I had mentioned it to the front desk who just gave me an air freshener to like spray the room which I did not use as I would then be smelling two strong smells. Other than that everything to do with the room was great, comfy beds and big enough for 4 people. I do think that they could put a bigger TV screen in the room. I do understand that they were going through renovations at the time but it was quite noisy especially when there are days when I just wanted to sleep in. The pool is great, the prices for the food are quite high but the food is delicious and there is a variety of choices for breakfast. My absolute favourite thing about Amoa resort is that across the road, there is the beach access as well as a veranda that they have built where you can jump off into the water but you can also sit and relax And if you’re lucky you may be able to spot some turtles as well since the water is so blue and clear and luckily I was able to. The staff are great. Thanks team.

  Gorgeous resort!!!! Staff were amazing and attentive. Rooms were very cosy and clean. The rooms could do with a clothes horse for drying clothes and microwave or toaster for making a snack. Had a very enjoyable stay. Can't wait to return!

  We absolutely loved our stay here, we stayed for a week and it was so worth it. The staff are genuine and absolutely wonderful. Everything is so clean and the beds are very comfortable which was the number one thing for me. The rooms are spacious and provide a lot of storage and lounging areas. The pool was beautiful we will miss swimming here. Breakfast was also amazing albeit for atleast the first couple of days until they started doing the breakfast buffet which we found was lacking in freshness and taste. However I highly recommend the restaurant which is always buzzing and had such a great vibe also you can also easily order off the menu for breakfast which I ended up doing. The gift shop is full of goodies I couldn’t resist purchasing a few locally made clothes and jewellery. This is one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve stayed at and I can’t wait to see future developments that they had mentioned were getting upgraded such as a conference room and new rooms. Hoping to have a family reunion here in the future. Thank you Amoa 💙

  Located about 25 minutes to the east of the ferry terminal, it was a scenic drive out to Amoa, and well worth booking. Located on some of the prettiest parts of the island, once the sun was out, it reflected of the white sands on the bottom of the ocean and made the water glow a mesmerising blue. Amoa resort has a great natural feel about it, makes you feel you are on a tropical island and near the ocean. Whilst it doesn't have 5 stars and mimic the Hiltons or even taumesina, it boasts very large rooms that are have a great character that feels welcoming and clean. The bathroom was fantastic, the open air rain head shower also adds character and excitement to an otherwise meaningless task. Our group consisted of 10 aged from 13 to 72 and the resort was very easy to navigate and had good selection of food for all of us. The fia fia night was different to anything we have seen in Samoa, with only women performing their siva, they had smiles that were addictive and their energy and most importantly their "Chee hoo" whilst they were dancing made you want to join them. Breakfast buffet was great, whilst it is limited , it does have the basics. They have a decent coffee machine and the bar staff made a decent coffee, ask for an extra 1 or 2 shots though if your getting a mug. Swimming in the pool is great, the pool bar always fun at happy hour, but the main attraction was the jetty across the road. About 4 metres from the water it is quite daunting upon approach, but once you just let go and jump, it summons your inner child and you just keep going, once your in the water, take your snorkels, there is Coral around and schools of fish to keep you amused and if your lucky, this area is renowned for turtles swimming past. Fantastic resort, relaxed vybe, great gardens and all around great staff, would stay again and again.
