  10 stars would be more ideal for this resort. Samaons should be very proud of their island and their people treat you like a local. I would stay here forever if it was possible. The Island itself is laid back, beautiful, heaps of history. Their guest houses line the roads. As do their fruit and vegetables, animals, pigs and chickens with a splendid array of beaches and swimming 🏊‍♀️ locations. After the ferry, Tuley picked us up (very knowledgable) and Cina greeted us at reception. Faara (Fire) also managed reception is so awesome to speak with. The accommodation is basic but has everything! No TV for anyone forgetting there is an island to explore. The Barefoot Bar and restaurant and beach was just outside our hut/room. Food here is remarkable. The chef she is a brilliant cook. The food sensational. Fish, chicken, pork and vegetarian dishes were all amazing. Rosey, G'alofa and Lio really look after you here (I did not get all their names). The resort is owned and run by Robin, Grant and Poppy (the cockerspaniel) who mix with the guests and manage everyone and everything AAA service. P.S. I hope my jokes are not too bad 🤣

  Savaii Lagoon Resort is a wee slice of paradise and we would go back any time. It is right on the beach, with a lovely area of coral reef just out there ad wonderful to explore at high tide. Staff were wonderfully responsive to all our questions before we arrived and then gave us terrific advice and assistance for the four nights we stayed. Highly recommend!

  I absolutely loved my 4 night stay at Savai'i Lagoon Resort and hope to go back again as soon as I can! Everything was just perfect for the relaxing holiday that I was after. Beautiful views, swimming, food, drinks, rooms and facilities. The staff were wonderful and the Fiafight performance by the staff members was a real highlight! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Incredible place. We absolutely loved it. The room had AC, it was literally just a few steps to a beautiful beach with loungers. Everyone was so friendly and polite and they helped us when we didn’t know how to get to the next accommodation. Another big plus is the Barefoot Bar and Restaurant with tropical drinks and Fia Fia night on Wednesday. We would definitely stay there again.

  Robyn and all the team at the Savaii Lagoon Resort were so lovely! We really enjoyed our stay. We celebrated my 40th Birthday and also the start of our honeymoon travel year and it is a very special place to stay. We really enjoyed the beauty of the place, our gorgeous beachfront villa, snorkelling, the cultural night, relaxing on the lounges and exploring Savaii. Highly recommend staying here!!! We loved it!!

  We stayed at Savaii Lagoon resort in May 2026. We were on a very early flight from Australia and arrived at our accommodation quite early. Robyn (the owner) was there to greet us and let us into the room straight away, knowing that we hadn't really had sleep at all, so that was really appreciated. This set the tone for the fantastic service we received the whole time we were there. All the staff were so warm and helpful and we had room 8 which had incredible views with a really nice little fale overlooking the water. The meals were exceptional and we really enjoyed the snorkelling right out the front of the resort. Really enjoyed the Fia Fia night on the Wednesday night and Savaii had lots of great things to do. I would highly recommend staying at Savaii Lagoon Resort to anyone, thanks so much to Robyn and Grant and all the staff, absolutely loved it!
