  This was our first time to Savai’i - we stayed for 5 nights end of Sept - Oct this year & my only regret is not staying longer! This resort sits on the most beautiful lagoon in the village of Fagamalo.. Robyn, Grant (and Poppy! 🐾) & the Savai’i Lagoon Resort staff are such beautiful people & sooo welcoming. Delicious food & the cocktails….they were divine! The Fia Fia night is amazing & the string band on Saturday nights is top tier too! 🙌 if you’re unsure where to stay in Savai’i - look no further. We’re already planning our next trip back & we won’t stay anywhere else now.

  Absolutely stunning location on the lagoon and very serene and relaxing. Each room is steps from the water. The freshly made to order included breakfast was the best of all three places we stayed at. Great snorkeling right off the beach but across the road you can book a snorkel trip further out or a scuba trip. Rooms are clean and aircon is great. The owners were around and very friendly. Fiafia night was fantastic too. Wish we had stayed longer and would return.

  Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Room was good with sea view and close to restaurant. Kettle, microwave & tea & coffee provided in room and everything was clean. Location was great and snorkelling on the reef was lovely with some kayaking thrown in as well. It is a 1 hour 40 min drive to ferry terminal so a car may be helpful to get around. Fia fia night was excellent and food was also very good and tasty. Overall, a great stay and would recommend the resort.

  This place was amazing! Outstanding service! Staff friendly and professional. Best food we ate whilst in Samoa… cater for gf and different dinner menu each night with fresh produce and delicious flavours! Coffee as good as home and barista opens at 7am where you can sit and watch the beautiful view. They care about the reef and keep guests informed of safe times to explore it. Our hosts Robin and Grant were so lovely… offering solutions to our lack of having a return ferry ticket…and willing to assist in anyway they could. Place was clean and well maintained. Wonderful place to stay awhile whilst in Savaii. Well run operation that I would highly recommend… we did have room 8 which was a highlight with its private viewing platform to the ocean. Thank you! Fabulous stay.

  10 stars would be more ideal for this resort. Samaons should be very proud of their island and their people treat you like a local. I would stay here forever if it was possible. The Island itself is laid back, beautiful, heaps of history. Their guest houses line the roads. As do their fruit and vegetables, animals, pigs and chickens with a splendid array of beaches and swimming 🏊‍♀️ locations. After the ferry, Tuley picked us up (very knowledgable) and Cina greeted us at reception. Faara (Fire) also managed reception is so awesome to speak with. The accommodation is basic but has everything! No TV for anyone forgetting there is an island to explore. The Barefoot Bar and restaurant and beach was just outside our hut/room. Food here is remarkable. The chef she is a brilliant cook. The food sensational. Fish, chicken, pork and vegetarian dishes were all amazing. Rosey, G'alofa and Lio really look after you here (I did not get all their names). The resort is owned and run by Robin, Grant and Poppy (the cockerspaniel) who mix with the guests and manage everyone and everything AAA service. P.S. I hope my jokes are not too bad 🤣

  Savaii Lagoon Resort is a wee slice of paradise and we would go back any time. It is right on the beach, with a lovely area of coral reef just out there ad wonderful to explore at high tide. Staff were wonderfully responsive to all our questions before we arrived and then gave us terrific advice and assistance for the four nights we stayed. Highly recommend!
