Recent guest feedback consistently notes that the resort itself is overdue for renovation: paint, decks, and the pool have all been flagged as needing maintenance, and rooms vary in condition. Travellers comfortable with a worn-but-functional resort, rather than a polished one, generally still report a positive stay for the location alone. Mosquito nets are provided; checking yours on arrival is sensible. Best suited to guests prioritising the beach and snorkelling over room finish.   DON'T STAY HERE. This resort is dirty, run-down and in a shocking state of disrepair. We literally fled after just one day, and judging by the experiences of other guests, we are far from the only ones to do so. The entire property is neglected, poorly maintained and bears little resemblance to what is advertised online. In our view, this is an unacceptable place to operate as a resort and it should be closed until major improvements are made. The photos shown on booking websites are clearly outdated and date from a time when the facilities were still in good condition. Please ignore them and look at the recent photos attached to this review instead. The gap between the advertised reality and the actual condition of the resort is so extreme that it feels misleading, if not deceptive. Save yourself the disappointment, stress and wasted money, and book somewhere else.

  First of all I want to say that this is a very difficult review to write because the Samoan people are some of the most beautifully friendly and hospitable people I have ever met, and their livelihood depends on the tourism industry in many cases. But I must for the sake of other travellers leave this review so others can be informed when they choose to book a 'euro fale' at this 'resort'. First of all I suggest that you read from this and any booking site what the 1 star reviews are about. I agree wholeheartedly with these previous reviews unfortunately. This place gave off really bad vibes, it felt like a deserted, run down, unsanitary and going to ruins ghost town. We ended up paying for the one night of our three night stay and handed the key back immediately after driving down the road and finding alternative accommodation. The stars aligned for us because all other places were booked up, but the first place we approached happen to have a cancellation. The resort we ended up in was quite pricey but I would have paid whatever it took to not have to stay at Stevenson's. I hope for the sake of the family or community who are running this place that someone can put some time and money into it because the location is stunning. The photos on the website must be extremely old because they do not show the reality of how run down and delapidated this place is. Please do your research before booking. And to the lovely people involved in running this resort I am sorry to have to leave this review.

  Our honeymoon well spent and enjoying our stay at Stevensons Manase. 💯It was so nice the design is unique. The aircon was spot on after a long day riding around the island. Also the bed was so comfy and the sheets were clean too. So quiet throughout the whole night no one bothered us❤️The room was just for me and hubby but they even provided extra single bed wow amazing. So I Highly recommended here and I will definitely visit them again

  We stayed 2 nights in the same villa room, 1 booked direct with the reception and the second booked through an accommodation app. Sadly the app was almost 200tala cheaper. At check in we were not told about any wifi, breakfast, restaurant hrs etc. The swimming however is awesome, stairs for water access, and at high tide only meters until it is shoulder depth, calm protected water to relax in. Our 1st night (the more expensive at 500 tala) the power went out, so we both woke as the room had heated up so much, and when we woke again although the power was back on, there was no water for a few hours.

  Hello, (French writting in english. Sorry for mistakes). Reading some comments my wife and me worried. We are currently in the middle of a 5 nights stay in this place. We are in a villa. Until now nothing wrong happened. Yes, it's a little but old but me knew we haven't booked in a palace. The crew is nice and smiling mostly when you use basic samoan words (Hello, thank you, have a good day...). The accommadation is good. Nothing to say. We have read this comments: - bugs on the bed: we didn't see any. - cats jumping on your legs: there are cats but they don't jump on you (except some if if you pet them). - swimming pool not clean: looks ok. - fridge is rusty: yes, the bottom of the door is rusty but the fridge works perfectly. Rust in a salted atmospher often happens. - bad food: fully disagree (we had only dinners) Good snorkeling in front of the bar especially if you go a lillte away from the shore ("holes" in the corals with various fish and corals). We met turtles in the end of the afternoon, close to the shore. A very good surprise regarding some comments! We won't hesitate to come back here.

  Very nice and comfortable stay. Stayed in one of the open Fales for 2 nights. A great place to use as a base for seeing this northern part of the island. The fale was clean and comfortable with the sleeping right on the foreshore and a lockable private bathroom at the back. Food and service was good but expect a chill relaxed vibe. It felt Samoan :)
