We stayed at Miti Maninoa Ocean Club from 9th to 10th as a group of around 15 people. First, I would like to mention that the environment, rooms, and overall location were very good. The food was also satisfactory. However, our experience was seriously affected by the behavior of some staff members. The biggest disappointment happened during the night. We were enjoying a small gathering in an outdoor area at the corner of the property. The hotel owner personally gave us permission to stay outside, sing, and enjoy ourselves until late at night. However, after the owner left at around 11:00 PM, a male manager who said he was on duty approached us. He appeared to be intoxicated and was behaving as if he had been drinking alcohol. We were very surprised and uncomfortable because a manager who is on duty should remain professional and respectful toward guests. The manager spoke to us in a rude and disrespectful manner and ordered us to stop our gathering and return to our rooms, even though we had already received permission from the owner. As paying guests, we felt embarrassed and disappointed by the way we were treated. If a manager is on duty, he should not be under the influence of alcohol, and he certainly should not speak to guests without respect. This behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The second issue occurred during check-out. One of our children (7 years old) had injured his leg, and we applied medicine to the wound. Some of the medicine stained a bedsheet. At check-out, we were charged an additional $50 for the stained bedsheet. In our experience, hotels normally wash stained sheets as part of their housekeeping process. We would understand being charged for a damaged or torn sheet that could no longer be used, but charging guests for a medicine stain seemed unreasonable. The staff member handling the matter continued to argue with us instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally. What made this experience even more disappointing is that we have stayed at other resorts in Samoa before. At Sinalei Reef Resort, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They helped us arrange a place for our evening gathering and were supportive throughout our stay. We also stayed at Survivor Samoa Beach Resort, where the staff were welcoming, respectful, and allowed guests to enjoy their holiday comfortably. Unfortunately, while Miti Maninoa Ocean Club has a beautiful setting, good rooms, and decent food, the poor customer service and unprofessional staff behavior left a negative impression on our group. We hope management investigates this matter, especially the conduct of the duty manager that night, and takes appropriate action to improve staff professionalism and guest relations in the future.

We stayed at a nearby resort and walked down to the ocean club for lunch and dinner several times during our time in Samoa. The food was delicious, as were the pina coladas! We had the Adobo chicken several times, enjoyed the crispy pork hock and the chow mein was epic too. Did I mention that the pina coladas were good? Much cheaper than dining at the resort too

We visited this cool little Ocean Club for an evening meal, and it definitely did not disappoint. Incredible food and atmosphere, and the Uncle Johnny's ice cream is incredible. Thanks Miti Maninoa, visiting from NZ

Just had the time to do this review from April. Our stay at Miti Maninoa Ocean Club from the 11th–21st of April was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to views like this every morning felt so peaceful and relaxing 🤍🌴 The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home throughout our whole stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. There were no TVs in the rooms, but honestly that was one of the best parts, it gave us the chance to truly disconnect, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of Samoa without distractions. The beachfront atmosphere, food, and overall vibe were unforgettable. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay. We’ll definitely be back again someday 🥰❤️

Awesome place to wind down, very beach club vibes which is fun and different for Samoa. I would come here more often but having to pay an extra 50 after buying drinks and food at their restaurant just to swim is kind of a bummer. I love dogs but there’s a lot of them there which if you’re not a dog person can be a little intimidating.
