  We are well travelled as my husband is from New York and I come from Paris. We found this hotel exceptional in terms of service, amenities and location: the staff is outstandingly attentive, caring, diligent and professional. We were supposed to only spend 3 nights there, and we could not leave and ended up spending a whole week there! This hotel is absolutely lovely and has a unique charm, and it is not corporate: Perfect for those who are interested in a more authentic immersion in Fijian local culture. The pool area is serene and pretty, and the water is clean and free of any chemical. Every room has a bathtub and it was great to take a hot bath before a good night of sleep. Dining options, room service and buffet-style breakfast are healthy and wonderful. It is only 10 minutes away from the airport, which is very convenient and there are friendly taxis drivers at the hotel, but it is also easy and super affordable to rent a car. The charming balconies overlook the commanding Mountain of the Sleeping Giant. In 20 minutes, you can get there to visit the magical Orchid Garden whose beauty is breathtaking—popular setting for wedding ceremonies. In the same area, you can mingle in the local market and visit the highly spiritual and colourful Temple. You can spend a few hours for body and facial care at the wonderful Mud and Hot Spring bath and get exquisite massages from Ms. Bee and others. The convenient local supermarket New World is about 6 minutes away by foot, with everything you need. Our deepest thanks and appreciation to Mr. Simeli, Ms. Mana, Mr. John, Ms. Vini, Mr. Maoppe, Ms. Esteva, Mere, Julia and many others. We miss you and we are grateful for the unique Novotel hospitality experience you all provided--we cannot wait to be back!

  ⭐ Extremely Disappointing – Definitely NOT a 4-Star Hotel This hotel was an absolute disappointment. For a hotel claiming to be 4-star, the standard was nowhere near what we expected — it felt more like a 2-star hotel at best and is seriously in need of updating, investment and proper maintenance. We paid £146 UK pounds per night, so we expected a decent standard. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The shower had extremely poor water pressure, and there was no hot water as expected, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel charging this price. The staff, however, were very friendly and nice, and we have no complaints about them personally. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down badly by the condition of the hotel and the lack of proper attention to the problems we experienced. The biggest concern was the overall hygiene, cleanliness and condition of the facilities. After seeing the condition of the hotel, we were so uncomfortable that we decided not to use the swimming pool at all. For a hotel charging £146 per night and advertising itself as 4-star, this is simply unacceptable. The hotel clearly needs serious investment, proper maintenance, improved hygiene standards and much better attention to guest complaints. When problems are reported, guests expect them to be taken seriously and dealt with promptly. Honestly, based on our experience, I would not rate this hotel 4 stars. It felt much closer to a 2-star hotel, and even that would be generous. Very poor value for money and definitely not somewhere I would recommend.

  I booked this place from Nov 30th to Dec 3rd 2026. This accomodation was booked for my nephews wedding. Since then the wedding plans have changed. I realise that this is Not free cancellation. However i informed the hotel on August 6th. Since then Booking.com has sent emails to Novotel to cancel the booking at the cost of no commission being charged to Novotel. They are supposed to give a decision in 48hrs . However uptil today Novotel have not sent return emails to Booking.com to cancel. I have sent emails endlessly however Novotel are not responding. I would not recommend this place to travellers from overseas,especially if they are attending events eg wedding. Plans can change due to circumstances beyond our control. Obviously Novotel reservations are counting $$ only and not humanity. Thank you booking.com for answering my calls and queries. As for Novotel management you have put me under alot of stress. Is this how you treat your clients? I have given you more than enough time to cancel my accomodation. Food for thought 'Would you like your family members to be treated this way?'

  Bad experience: 1. Bad sound proof in room, can hear outside clearly and unable to tell if people knock on your door or next. 2. Slow supply of food, have to wait at table for so long to get drinks and food, kitchen skipped one order, have to remind them. 3. Bad experience at check out. Have been called three times for additional payment, and we asked if breakfast is included the day before, still got charged for breakfast at check out. Really bad experience for this stay.

  The staff were lovely and the location was convenient, with nice daytime views from the restaurant but overall the room is very dated and old. The room had a musty smell, the carpet was fraying, and the shower water pressure was extremely poor, almost none. The ice white lighting in the room is quite harsh which we were unable to feel relaxed on our final night in Fiji. Unfortunately, the room was not worth the price paid, is in need of a complete refurbishment, because of this we won’t stay again. I am surprised this is a Novotel property.

  Booked with free cancellation, but was charged anyway. Accor website clearly showed free cancellation until July 23rd, yet they still took my money. Sent multiple requests for a refund—no response at all. Communication is painfully slow and unhelpful. Very shady customer service. Be careful booking here—their "free cancellation" means nothing.
