The beachfront is steps from the fales, and the reef offshore is among the better snorkel spots on the south-east coast.   What an incredible experience. Traditional beach fales in the most spectacular location. Simple living at its best. Wake up to the sounds of the ocean, go for a snorkel at world class reefs and then be treated to a delicious breakfast. The food was amazing, the staff were even better.

  I almost never write reviews, but I’m making an exception. Litia Sini made our trip unforgettable. I’ll always remember the view from our beachfront fale, something I’ll hold onto until we can return one day. During our time in Samoa, we also stayed at Tanoa Tusitala and Saletoga Sands Resort. Saletoga has nice amenities and is very comfortable, but it still didn’t feel memorable. Tanoa Tusitala was fine, a place you can happily pass through while in Apia, but again nothing that left a lasting impression. Litia Sini, on the other hand, is the place that truly stayed with us. This spot, right on Lalomanu Beach, is where you want to be if you’re after a genuine, low-key stay that captures the best of the South Pacific. Samoa is one of the most beautiful island nations anywhere, and this stretch of beach might be its finest. The water is crystal clear and turquoise. The beach is perfect for swimming, and there’s good snorkelling just off the shore. Some coral was damaged, likely from the 2009 tsunami, but there’s still plenty of vibrant fish life. The staff at Litia Sini are warm and genuine people, many of them part of Lydia and Joseph’s extended family. You feel looked after in a very real and natural way. Samoans are softly spoken, kind, and welcoming, and that spirit is felt in everything here. The food was the best we had in Samoa by a long way, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in my life. We also had traditional massages during our stay, which were excellent and absolutely worth doing. The southern part of Upolu is quieter and more rural, and the surrounding villages add to the feeling of being in a true escape. You won’t get things like air conditioning or private bathrooms, but the setting, the people, and the experience more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a real South Pacific getaway and want to spend time in one of the most beautiful places in the world, I’d recommend spending some or all of your time in Samoa at Litia Sini.

  Beautiful location, lovely service with friendly staff, and pets. Plus delicious included breakfasts and dinner. Great value for money compared to other resorts. There wasnt a lot of luxuries in the room, but after our stay we realised we didnt even miss them. A bit of a hike from the airport, but worth it. The beach is right there.

  Wow! This place was epic!!! We absolutely adored our stay here. Please note there is no air conditioning, hot water, or wifi… but this is very clearly stated on their website. The fales are so pretty!!! Definitely recommend getting the ocean view, waking up here was a dream. The staff were so friendly and accommodating + the included food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to our friends and family.
