Reviewers consistently describe the experience as the kind of authentic beach-fale stay the listing photos promise: a wooden fale a few steps from the lagoon, breakfast included, dinner cooked by the host family. The fales are basic and breezy, with mosquito nets and sea-breeze ventilation in place of air conditioning. Power outlets are located in the central eating area rather than in each fale — bring a power bank if you need to charge overnight. Dinner is approximately WST 35 per person, served family-style; the bar in the main dining hut opens before sunset for drinks on the beach. The water in front of the fales is crystal clear and shallow at low tide, making it safe for all ages.   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing one-week stay here. The place is absolutely beautiful, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. My stay included breakfast and dinner, and all the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fresh fish. The beach is stunning, and this is one of the best spots for swimming. A special thank you to Koroseta, who was so kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. She made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

  We had a one stop here. We stayed in a basic room, and it was. The shower didn’t work and the bed was quite uncomfortable. On the plus side, the family running it were friendly and welcoming and the included breakfast was good as was the buffet dinner.

  The family is very friendly and helpful. Fales are comfortable. Basic amenities. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Would reccomend having a re talk car if you are out this side of the island as most activities are a good drive from the fales.

  We stayed here for 2 nights in an open fale for a more traditional experience of Samoan life. It is nothing like anything we have ever done before. There are communal showers and flushing toilets, the waves are a few steps away and the price is inclusive of a delicious breakfast home cooked by the family. To Sua is only about 10 minutes away and there are other resorts with restaurants you can try, or you can pay for a dinner here at Faofao. This is something everyone should try. Thank you Faofao 🫶🏼

  Stayed at this lovely fale and it was low-key the peak Samoa experience, no cap. The hosts were absolute legends with main character energy, making us feel right at home. But let’s talk about the dinner—the portions were actually delulu. One plate was literally enough to feed three people; I haven't been this stuffed since... well, since I "fale" asleep after my last big meal (get it?). Watching the kids vibe and play in the water was 10/10 wholesome content. Honestly, if you don't stay here, you're taking a massive L. It was a "fale-tastic" time for the whole "fale-mily"!
