Visiting Papase'ea Sliding Rocks, Apia, Upolu
Papase'ea Sliding Rocks is one of Apia, Upolu's most-visited natural pools. This guide pairs the place with the stays nearby and the tours that include it on their itinerary, so you can plan a trip without bouncing between five tabs.
About this guide
A trio of natural rock waterslides on the Vaisigano River, just outside Apia in Faleata district. Climb up the rocks, sit down, slide into the swimming hole below — best in the wet season (Nov–Apr) when the river is fuller and the slides are slicker. Slippery, fun, and very much a Samoan family weekend outing.
