Aleipata & Lalomanu
The Aleipata district at Upolu's southeast end holds Lalomanu Beach — Samoa's most famous stretch of sand — and the beach-fale villages of Saleapaga.
About Aleipata & Lalomanu
Aleipata is the district at the southeastern tip of Upolu, roughly 90 minutes' drive from Apia. Lalomanu Beach, its white sand facing the offshore islands of Nu'utele and Nu'ulua, is the best-known beach in Samoa and lined with family-run beach fales; neighbouring Saleapaga offers more. The To Sua Ocean Trench at Lotofaga is a short drive west along the south coast.
