  This place is awful. The first room they tried to check me into had about 200 dead ants on the bathroom floor. The second room only had a few spider webs and spiders. The rooms all smell musty. It looks like they were only ever cleaned by accident. Mercifully, the sheets were clean. On the plus side, I did hear someone getting piped down in the room next to mine, so that was nice.

  Transit Motel exceeded our expectations. We stayed one night before getting flight. It's a very short drive to airport and transfer is included and very reliable. They collected us at airport after we dropped off our rental car and then dropped us off at flight next morning. There is a restaurant onsite which had great meals at low price (chicken curry was massive and 20 Tala). It even has a pool, which we loved for a final sunset swim before we flew out. The beds are comfy and room had fan and Aircon. Everything we needed for our short stay. I can see some negative reviews below - it seems like they have had a Reno perhaps since then - can't fault our stay and would stay again! Thankyou !

  You get what you paid for, basically the closest and cheapest to the airport for an overnight stay, receptionist was friendly and we paid in advance for a room for one night, few days later we checked in and was told of a bond of $100 we had to pay, i mentioned this should have been addressed at the time of payment and i refused to pay.

  If you are somewhere in the world looking to visit Samoa and unsure of where to stay, check out Transit Motel in Mulifanua. You will find an intimate location that is very peaceful, quiet and welcoming. Their staff are knowledgeable, friendly and will always greet you with a smile. Transit is convenient, comfortable, welcoming and have excellent rates. Don’t judge a book by its cover, it’s not the quantity it’s the quality! If you understand the meaning of these words, you won’t be disappointed when/if you book your reservation with Transit Motel🥰 Take it from me, my husband and I travel a lot and we totally understand the importance of cleanliness, convenience and excellent customer service!!! I promise you won’t regret your stay 😘

  Second time staying here with family at Transit Motel and would stay here again. Friendly, respectful and helpful staff. Rooms are alright, has basic amenities such as a bed, shower, fridge, storage space and also have aircon. Despite there being no tv, wifi and a strong smell in the rooms it was manageable. The restaurant was good but a long wait for food to be served. However, great portions and alright prices. Owner came to greet us as well which felt welcoming. I’d recommend to stay a night or two but also perfect location to stay the night if you are catching an early/late flight or waiting to aboard the ferry the next day. Airport is just 5 minutes down the road and easy to travel back and forth too.
