  Great experience overall! Friendly and welcoming staff, great food, and amazing live singers near the bar. I just wish the gym had a squat rack—looks like leg day is off the program during my stay. 😅 The ATM had some issues, and the network was okay-ish, but overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

  Honestly could not recommend this Place more Highly! We had 5 rooms here at the start of our trip and all rooms were well appointed, Clean and functional! The pool area is beautiful and a great place to relax with plenty food and beverages on offer. The food was great! Breakfast while a little smaller was of great Quality, Pizzas were amazing as well. The massage provided by the onsite spa was the best I have had! Now we're this place really Shines is its staff!! Every interaction was meet with Friendly bulas, and a great sense of humour any issues we had were dealt with promptly and with out any fuss. It's very clear here the staff are very connected and genuinely enjoy working there, We stayed at a 4-5Star island resort after this stay Can't mention the name as I work for the company ;) and I can say our stay here was a far better experience. Highly recommend! can't wait to return to stay glad to always be apart of the Tanoa Family.

  Extraordinary. Amazing. Beautiful resort. The layout, rooms, amenities were perfect! The food. drinks and staff were sooo gracious, kind, and in touch with every guests needs. Highly recommended. Absolutely a solid good choice! Beautiful.

  Stranded on Fiji’s main island due to bad weather, we were so grateful to stay at Tanoa International Hotel. After a 13-hour flight and losing a full day, the staff kindly checked us in at 9:30 a.m. Enny went above and beyond, helping us explore Nadi, find kava root, visit the Hindu Temple, purchase supplies for a school in the Yasawas, and negotiate taxi fares. Her kindness made our unexpected delay unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, the grounds beautiful, the gym excellent, and the meals delicious. Five stars! Thank you, Enny—I’ll always cherish your friendship.

  The Tanoa was a complete hidden gem. We had some concerns because it is so close to the airport, but there was only one time that we noticed any plane noises. It is a very peaceful and quiet area. We booked this stay for a single night before we fly home from Fiji for our Honeymoon and we regretted not booking with them a few days longer. The bar was a very lively spot at night and had amazing cocktails made by the Great Filimoni!!! He was so fun and witty and kept great company. Our dinner was absolutely fantastic and we felt very well catered to by our host Saiasi. He was great at anticipating our needs and was ready to help immediately! He was one of the best hosts we have ever experienced. We booked one of the suite rooms and it was massive inside. It kind of has a vintage 80's Scarface Luxury vibe to the room which we really enjoyed. Everything was very well taken care of and extremely clean. We were blown away at how great the whole experience was! We will be back to Fiji in a few years for our anniversary and we will definitely be booking with the Tanoa again!!!

  Tl;dr Great place to stopover after a long flight. Would recommend. Honestly, one of the better hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The whole place is clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly. The food is actually pretty good as well. That combo is shockingly hard to come by on mainland Fiji. The rooms are updated (though some are a little behind, the hotel is clearly working on it) and the rooms are exceptionally clean. They run shuttles to the airport for every flight, which is awesome. I happened to arrive here just before a cyclone hit and the hotel got SLAMMED with people whose flights and resort boats got cancelled. It wasn’t pretty, long lines for food and service, and the hotel struggled for a day or two. However, the hotel staff were friendly through it all and things improved. After the cyclone passed, things returned to normal and it was overall great. I ended up staying here twice during my time in Fiji and I will definitely be coming back if I come back to Fiji. Honestly, after spending time exploring Fiji, the ideal was to do it is fly in, stay at Tanoa for the night, then take a resort boat out to the Yasawa islands. I wouldn’t even bother with anything else.
