Paia Dwarf's Cave is an underground lava tube system at Paia village on Savaii's South Coast. You wade knee-deep through dark tunnels with a guide and torches, emerging at a hidden swimming pool. The experience demands moderate physical effort and is not suitable for anyone uncomfortable in confined spaces. Closed Sundays; visit during dry season and wear shoes you don't mind getting wet.
