Where to stay on the Coral Coast, Fiji
The Coral Coast is the 80-odd kilometres of Queens Road shoreline between Sigatoka and Pacific Harbour — Fiji's original resort strip, strung with properties from backpacker beach bars to five-star islands. It's the pick if you want resort comfort with real Fiji outside the gate: villages, the Sigatoka valley, and reef at low tide.
Where to stay in Fiji: Nadi, the Coral Coast, Suva and beyond
Fiji's main island, Viti Levu, is where most visitors sleep, and where you stay depends on what you came for: Nadi and Denarau for the airport and the island ferries, the Coral Coast between Sigatoka and Pacific Harbour for beach resorts, Suva for the capital and its markets. Kalena lists Viti Levu properties with guest ratings from verified sources.
Best resorts in Fiji: Viti Levu's top-rated beach and golf resorts
Fiji's resort belt runs along the south and west of Viti Levu: Denarau Island beside Nadi, Natadola and Momi Bay to the south, the Coral Coast from Sigatoka to Pacific Harbour. Kalena lists 34 rated resorts across those areas; the list below is ordered by guest rating from verified sources, not by who pays for placement.

Decent room, but a logistical nightmare. If you are just looking for a clean bed to sleep in for a quick overnight stop, the room itself is decent and well-kept. However, almost everything else about our stay at Yadua Bay Resort was a massive disappointment. To start, the drive in was incredibly stressful. The access road is completely unlit at night and riddled with massive potholes. Once we finally arrived, we discovered there was no on-site restaurant available, forcing us to drive back out to a nearby True Mart just to get something to eat. The lack of connectivity made things even worse. The WiFi completely failed to connect in our room, and to top it off, there was zero cell phone signal, leaving us entirely cut off. Finally, the "ocean view" we were promised was nonexistent. Unless you just need a place to crash and don't care about food, safety, or communication, I would look elsewhere.

First and foremost I want to be clear that the staff were all incredible and helpful and really made our expense worthwhile in what was otherwise a pretty rundown and totally vacant hotel. The owners of Yadua Bay "Resort" need to put some capital into their investment. The walls need paint, the curtains were all broken and the "kitchen" had a semi-functional cook top with one spluttering burner one terrible knife and a chopping block that had been used for years and has such deep gouges it was impossible to clean and totally unsanitary. The lock on the front door worked about half the time so we had to go in and out the sliding door which was also very difficult to open and lock. We were grateful for the kind security guard looking out for us during our stay because the room was not secure. The bathrooms were covered in wasp nests and had roaches coming out of the drains. The pool was in sad disrepair with about half the tiles missing, seats so broken and cushions so torn that only a few were even usable. The staff were so wonderful we don't regret the experience but to allow this establishment to fall into such disrepair and keep outdated and inaccurate photos is at a minimum misleading.

Found this place out of the way staff was ok .. after checking out… they wanted to charge me money for a towel missing until I went back in the room and recounted again..staff not trained very well . Food was ok .. view was good .. but the road was kinda rough… honestly there are better places with friendly staff.. didn’t feel welcomed …

Location near beach but getting there on a bumpy road not great on a rainy day! Longer wait to checkin (reception dual jobs -checkin n taking each guest to their rooms)! We had to request for extra towels as not enough in rooms.😬 flies n roach seen in the room too🙄 breakfast menu missing some items when served & hot n stuffy restaurant!! overall service not great!! Do better pls🙏 Only plus was this view of the surf 🤩

Relaxing and enjoyable stay The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, providing a great place to relax. The large outdoor pool is a real highlight and perfect for unwinding. The food is nice and well prepared, with fast and efficient service. The resort is quiet, creating a peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing experience. Highly recommended.

I hate sharing negative reviews but this resort was so misleading. It’s so much closer to a roadside motel than it is to a hotel, let alone a RESORT! The service was great - the Fijian lady at the front desk was so helpful and the staff at the bar were lovely too. However, when I entered my room, it smelled so bad. There are no blankets at all, just sheets in the room - no ironing board, the kettle was old and smelly, the spoons and cups were so dirty and there were bed bugs! This is not a family friendly accommodation - I definitely do not recommend. It is not worth the price, should be half of what it actually is. It’s not a three star place, it’s definitely one star! The road to get to this place was such a mission - the roads are so bad. Never coming back here
