  We stayed at Tanoa Plaza in Suva for 3 nights. The room was great! Spacious and good air conditioning. There were no mosquitoes but there were a few cockroaches... We found at least 2 per day in and around the room. The shower head fitting was loose but we were able to tighten that ourselves with a key. Breakfast was delicious - different offerings each day so it did not get boring. And a wide selection of hot and chilled foods. Staff were friendly and hospitable - room servicing times varied each day. Some days it seemed to be done earlier in the day whilst other days it was done well beyond 2pm. We came back at around 1pm to freshen up and noticed the room had not been serviced. Called reception to ask for new towels but they didn't deliver them quickly so I had to go downstairs and find someone to ask for new towels. After we left again and came back later (approx an hour), new towels had been left in our bathroom. Currency exchange - I emailed ahead of arriving to ask if they do currency exchange and was told they do offer this service however were unable to do it that day due to lack of cash availability. The next day I asked reception if they could do it and they flat out told me they do not offer this service and that there is a Western Union nearby. Mixed communications which was confusing...

  Our stay at Tanoa Plaza was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but what really made our experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank-you goes to Vika at the front office—she went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her kindness, efficiency, and genuine care made such a positive difference throughout our stay. We are grateful for the excellent service and look forward to returning to Tanoa Plaza again.

  Excellent hotel - new, clean and well appointed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good resraurent. Great service. Highly recommend. Dont be put off by the exterior which is in need of refurbushment. Inside it is new, and clean.
