  Room was terrible - moldy, peeling paint, bad smell, dirty curtains that haven't been cleaned in years, broken lights, dysfunctional TV, and zero wifi even though it was promised. Staff of both hotel and restaurant THOROUGHLY UNFRIENDLY, charging for tiny things like fish food and wanting a $40 deposit for an umbrella when it was a downpour for 10 hours straight and rooms are a long walk up a hill! This place should be ashamed of itself. Don't come here! We left a day early and forfeited the night. But do visit nearby Colo-I-Suva reserve if nearby...

  Room was adequate. I have an extreme medical condition that means I cannot shower in cold water. The website assured me of hot water shower. It is why I chose this property. 3 out of my 6 night stay, I had no hot water. Rats in my roof and wall cavity woke me each night of my 6 night stay. When i mentioned it to staff, their response was - "well, they need to live somewhere" Internet was poor. After 3 days of no service, Management supplied me with a personal Router. Thank you. Restaurant is open to the public........ 3 nights of my stay prevented me from being a sit in guest, as each night there was a private function. The guest pool (outside my unit) was often overtaken by local childen, even at night. There is an area abutting the pool area that houses a staff Hungi Pit. This area reeks of stale refuse and is laden with trash. Many of the staff are ambivalent, and do not understand guest concerns. 'Camp kitchen' lacks basic tools. The focus is to get guests to use the restaurant. My mattress was lumpy, and sheets frayed at edges. I appreciate that this venue is budget, but basic comfort and privacy must be ensured

  We were a little skeptical due to the negative reviews but were pleasantly surprised with the room; it was small but had an aircon and even a fridge. The room was clean, as well. The bed seems a little bit old and the walls are paper thin, though. But overall good for a budget accommodation. Most of the staff were very friendly. The only negative experience was actually the restaurant - it is not cheap but lacks quality. Most of the dishes on the menu weren't available. When I ordered a dish 3 out of the 4 components were either missing or substituted with something else. Taste wasn't great and I was quite disappointed. Also they don't have any change if you want to pay with cash..
