Samoa Cultural Village

Apia's flagship cultural experience — run by the Samoa Tourism Authority at the Tourism Fale on Beach Road. A hands-on showcase of fa'a Samoa: a traditional 'ava (kava) ceremony, weaving demonstrations (visitors plait coconut-leaf plates that are used later in the food tasting), tatau (tattoo) demonstrations, umu (earth-oven) cooking — where, as the guides explain, the men do most of the work, layering taro and fish over hot stones — and a siva (dance) performance. Allow 2–3 hours for the full program. Admission is WST 20 per adult and WST 5 per child aged 6–12 (under 4 free). A separate evening fiafia + dinner is also bookable on-site.
