The recent Pacific Strongest 2026 competition, held over two days in our capital, Apia, truly demonstrated the incredible power and resilience of athletes from across the Pacific. Organised by Strongman Samoa, the event brought international strongman athletes to our shores, highlighting Samoa's growing reputation as a hub for strength sports in the region.
Competitors battled it out in various men’s and women’s divisions, with new champions emerging. In the Men's Open, Laauoleolaimalua Fereti claimed gold, while Sita Siliko secured the gold in the Women's Open. It’s always inspiring to see such dedication and athletic prowess. The event continues to grow in popularity, building on the success of previous years, and we love seeing Samoa on the world stage for such exciting competitions. These events not only celebrate the strength of Pacific athletes but also encourage visitors to experience the vibrant atmosphere and hospitality of Samoa.
