Nadi Under-20 Rugby Dominates in Season Opener

It's always exciting to see grassroots rugby thriving in the Pacific, and a recent match in Fiji certainly delivered on that front. The McDonald's Nadi Under-20 team put on a powerful display against Kadavu Rugby Under-20, clinching a 55-10 victory at King Charles Park. Despite a red card for a Nadi player in the first half, the team continued to dominate, demonstrating impressive resilience and attacking prowess.

From the opening try in the 11th minute to a commanding 31-0 lead at halftime, Nadi showed their intent. The second half saw no let-up, with tries scored just seconds after the restart and throughout the game. Even though Kadavu managed to get on the scoreboard with a penalty and a late converted try, it was Nadi's day. This kind of spirited competition is fantastic for developing young athletes in the region. While this match took place in Fiji, it highlights the vibrant rugby culture shared across the Pacific, including here in Samoa.
